A professional Korean acne facial built around chlorophyllin-copper complex, allantoin, and centella, paired with blue and red LED light. Designed specifically for acne-prone, sensitive, and post-inflammatory skin.
O'melon Green Plus is the in-clinic application of the O'melon Green Plus Skincare Kit, a clinical-grade Korean facial system designed for acne-prone, sensitive, and post-inflammatory skin. It is described by O'melon as gentle and non-sensitizing, with low pigmentation risk, which is unusual for an acne-targeted protocol.
The kit pairs a chlorophyllin-copper complex (the active that gives it its green colour) with allantoin, centella, aloe, and green tea, then layers in blue and red LED light to amplify the anti-inflammatory effect. It is one of the few facials we can run during an active breakout without aggravating the skin further.
Most acne protocols rely on acids or strong actives that can sensitize already-inflamed skin. O'melon Green Plus is built the opposite way: it calms inflammation first, supports barrier recovery, and uses LED rather than acids to clear the breakout. That is why it sits well even on rosacea-adjacent and post-procedure skin.
Each session uses a single-use 3-component O'melon kit plus our in-clinic LED panels.
A concentrated treatment shot containing the chlorophyllin-copper complex, the headline active. Chlorophyllin-copper has documented anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, and is the ingredient doing most of the calming and detoxifying work in this facial.
100% natural allantoin powder, mixed with the shot at the start of the appointment. Allantoin supports gentle keratolytic action and helps the skin regenerate without the irritation a strong AHA would cause.
A finishing mask that seals the active formula and lengthens contact time on the skin. We layer it under red and blue LED light at the end of the session for a final calming and barrier-supporting effect.
O'melon Green Plus is designed to work synergistically with LED light therapy. We use blue LED first to target the acne-driving bacteria and reduce active inflammation, then red LED with the finishing mask to calm the skin and support healing. Optional micro-channeling can be added during the kit step for deeper penetration if your skin is suitable for it.
Most clients leave the room with visibly calmer, less inflamed skin. Redness tends to soften, the skin feels less reactive, and any actively inflamed spots often look smaller over the following day or two. Because the protocol is non-sensitizing, you do not need to skip your regular skincare the next day.
For active acne, a course of treatments works better than a single session. Your esthetician will set a cadence with you after looking at your skin, and adjust it based on how your skin responds.
Book treatmentWhat people ask us before booking O'melon Green Plus.
For most cases of mild to moderate inflammatory acne, yes. Topical sodium copper chlorophyllin complex has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial activity that is well documented in dermatology literature, including a pilot clinical study showing improvement after three weeks of consistent use. The blue LED step adds a separate, well-documented antibacterial effect against acne-driving bacteria.
Severe or cystic acne usually needs a combined plan that includes dermatologist-prescribed treatment alongside in-clinic care. If we think a referral is the right call after looking at your skin, we will tell you that during the consultation.
Generally yes. O'melon describes the kit as gentle and non-sensitizing, with a low pigmentation risk. The actives are calming rather than exfoliating, which is why it sits well on reactive skin where an acid-based facial would flare things up.
If you have a known reaction to a specific botanical (centella, aloe, green tea), mention it during your consultation and we will check the ingredient list before booking you in.
Our Green Peel Stop Acne option uses Dr. Christine Schrammek herbs and a light peeling effect, which suits some skin types better. Our chemical peels (lactic, pumpkin) use acids to exfoliate. O'melon Green Plus is the protocol we reach for when the skin is too inflamed or reactive for those, or when we want to layer LED therapy in with a calming kit.
During consultation we will look at your skin and recommend whichever fits best, including combinations.
For active acne, a course of treatments works better than a single session. The Desembre and O'melon kits are supplied as multi-treatment sets for that reason. Your esthetician will set the cadence at your consultation, look at your skin response after the first one or two sessions, and adjust from there.
No. The skin may look slightly pink immediately after, but this fades quickly. You can wear makeup the same day and continue your routine the next morning.
Yes. The kit is designed to optionally pair with micro-channeling for deeper penetration of the actives, but only when the skin is suitable. We will check during your consultation whether your skin is in the right state for that and let you know.
One hour. A complete O'melon Green Plus professional kit, layered with blue and red LED. A facial that is actually built for acne-prone, reactive skin, not retrofitted from a general protocol.
